lazy lynx

Like its distant relative, the cheetah, an like many other cats, like lions or house cats, this lynx seems to be a big fan of taking a rest, looking with only half open eyes down from its comfy tree trunk into my lens.

Even this red panda was very relaxed. Too relaxed actually to even just take a look at the me photographing. What a cozy little creature.

In this picture I tried to make the animal stand out by emphasizing the red tones in the panda fur and the green tone of its environment. I also chose to corp in a way that the panda is in the top third of the picture to give a sense of its elevation and self-impose isolation from those ground-dwellers such as myself.
