bird kingdom 2

I feel the picture on top of this post is one of the best from my visit at bird kingdom. Still, some of the others have overshadowed it because of more attention grabbing colors.

This small, sparrow sized bird shared a room with many others of a similar size. Like with the presentation birds in the entrance are, there was no barrier to the birds. No fence, no net, no glass. Which made for a very immersive experience. And easy, nice photos. Only drawback: it was a bit dark.

This pair of parrots is another favorite from the small parrot room. A very sweet moment between the two tiny animals.

Although the low light in the area made some of the photos difficult to take, when the light was on a parrot it really stood out. This is the best one with such a constellation. It also reveals a lot of feather detail.

Next up will be the big parrot area.
